Majestic Vanners Vanning Legends Reunion 2011.

Hey everyone, Majestic Vanners are holding a Vanning Legends reunion which will include a lot of old vanners from the late 70's early 80's and hopefully a few other guests.

It'll be on the Saturday, 26th of November at Woy Woy on the Central coast.

RSVP me by the 1st of November if you wish to attend and more details.

Cost will be decided on day and will be only to cover meat, drinks etc. So will be minimal.

Clash of dates for me mate,I have something else on or I would of attended this event.

we can't be there logistics prevent it but we are in the gong for 3 weeks over xmas

I'll check the dates towards end of October and see what's planned.

so far and it's only early I've had around 50 RSVP's come in (shut off point 1st November)so it should be huge. Certainly the biggest event of it's kind I think. People from Penthouse, ECVC, Our Town, Pacific, Newcastle, Sin City, Sundowners and of course Majestic Vanners will all be represented.

The location will be named after the first of November and only those who have RSVPed will know the location, to prevent gate crashes and help with catering numbers. (Hard to cater for a free for all).
Once numbers are finalised I'll notify everyone of the location in the first weekend of November.

I will be covering it for Street Machine magazine too so if anyones tossing up whether to bring your vans or not please do as it may look a bit sparce to do a Vanner reunion story with no Vans!!

My van won't be there unfortunatly.
It needs it's motor swapped, repair transmission leaks and put the 3.08 diff back in.
Also has roof spoiler taken off, to decide which of the 3 designs i have in mind, will go on.

I might have to do a bit of work on the WB to make sure she makes it! Was just going to bring family hack, depends on if the wife wants to come.........

LOL... I'd take my van on a trailer just to make up some numbers... but It might just be the chassis.
I hope to have the body off this weekend and doubt it will be ready to put back on before the gathering.

I'm looking forward to meeting and chatting with everyone who is going... the biggest disappointment I have about the 'All Holden Day' event was that I spent all my time there checking out the cars and vans... and had no time to chat to all but a couple of the people showing their vans

Hmmm... Camera's will be there for a mag... To shave or not to shave... Hmmmmm????
