2012 Majestic Vanners Vanning Legends Reunion part 2.

Just a heads up everyone that we're doing another Vanning Legends reunion hope to see everyone there again and hopefully a heap more!

Date set is Saturday 24th of November and will be at a Central Coast location close to the last one to be announced shortly.

Everyone that attended last time had a great day and we're planning on making this one even better!

Been slowly organising the event, Rhino's secured the venue, I have invited a heap of people through the facebook page and had a positive response, got a few coming down from QLD for the event including our own Simo and John(Time Lapse) as well as Mr Mystic Illusions Doug Cundy and possibly his son Paul.

Starting ringing around to people who arent on Facebook today and will be doing a heap more over the next couple of weeks!!!

Working on that to Tony, Mike contacted me last night from QLD and was talking of driving his beautiful gold Holden down. Plus hopefully a few Sydney and Central coast MVers can drag there's along.

Hi Everyone, I am counting down the days until the Reunion And Man am I looking forward to the day As much as I wish I can't Drive down in My Van, Yes Van !!! A 1969 Toymota Corolla Van,Quite rare too, running a Big block 1100cc, she is only small but a Van none the less. It was at the last reunion, spurred on by meeting so many new and old Vanning friends,I said that I was on a mission to get another Van and I have. and I am as Happy as a hurricane in a Trailer park... I hope to get it to my place by Early December after the reunion Then the fun begins Decisions Decisions, What to do Part or full resto?...Stock Original Or Mild to Wild Custom ...It's been many years between drinks for me so much has changed and I really need to go right over the Van to reach a workable verdict, But that is all part of the fun. Anyway See you all in November Big Cheers John.

flights, car and accommodation booked today,

Ill be there! got time off work, van is getting some/few things fixed today, (speedo had stoped working, 350 holley is backfireing n motor diesels on turn off, brakes so i can stop easyer.. and other little ajustments..like all holdens need!), this weekend (witch is my last as im away working untill reunion week...) hopefully organise a bed for the back! otherwise going to be a rough sleep every night haha. but cant wait untill that week as it will be first big trip in the old girl should be fun, only thing is...

will she make the 14-15hour drive

First big trip in my HK van was a 17 hour drive to the 2007 van nats. Was an awesome trip... Long weekend traffic got to love it!

What sort of costs per head, will be involved for the meet up?

I will be heading up on the friday with John Shouten and then onto Steve Tasker's then I will be heading to rhino's after I leave Steve's place I am really looking forward to this reunion

we arrive in newcastle at 7.45 am saturday, hired a car, hoping to get a sneak peek at alley cat before we go home, looking forward to catching up with everybody
