Re: The Ladies Rides.
thanks rusty
ok ill go first my pride and joy is my HQ pano. which is currently out of action but will be back bigger and better than ever in the not too distant future
and my 2 non pano rides, the VW gti which is essentially my daily, and a toyota surf. (not many cheap auto 4wds around other than surf lol but i like it) surf tows and 4wds. just got to get a new bigger steering dampener for it to make it easier on my poor hand/wrists.
miss driving around in the panelvan so much though. no other car compares to it! what are your ladies plans with your rides?

Hi, This is my car I call her "Fang", I will let you figure out why I call her that . I have never had a connection with a car before Fang, now I understand how people can have a passion for cars. So Serendipity's journey is wonderful cause Andrew and I both have that passion. I don't know alot about cars but I love asking questions to find out what this is called or what does that do so I have a little knowledge other than just driving a car, I have alot to learn . Hope to hear from other women about their experiences and thoughts.
Take Care

Re: The Ladies Rides.
thinking i should update my rides as they have changed!!!!!!!! the panelvan has not changed, but i no longer have the surf or the golf. had a happy few years of motoring with my landrover discovery, and late last year, managed to achieve a dream and welcomed a 67 impala 4 door hardtop to our family! I cannot remember if ive posted this already in this forum yet or not? but ive called her Rosie in memory of a wonderful friend of mine, who was a friend, my physio, horse riding coach and like an aunty. She lost her battle with depression almost 18months ago, and i firmly believe the impala was sent by her. they are extremely rare, and one happened to come along in a really weird way, and she always told me I would get one one day. she said she just knew. I am the first owner in australia, as rosie comes from nevada in the USA. Love my car family!!!!!!!!!! have to remember how to post pics to forums now as been ages!
my beloved pano at present
and the landrover with my horse!
ive also got this ride on mower, had it since 2010 haha. without it id not be able to have horses still. it is my wheel chair outdoors a lot thesedays. i take my horse for walks from it too, just kind of need a quad as it is a tad slow haha.

Re: The Ladies Rides.
thankyou
yeah she was a lovely lady, looks after me from beyond the grave i think. the one time my landrover died was right by a driveway off the road, and then seconds later i received that horrible phone call, then my landrover started again! i was in too much of a state to drive. people came to my aid thinking i was a mess because of a broken down car, when it wasnt a broken down car at all, and i was a mess because i just found out about my friend. so if i was skeptic before, i certainly am not now! so rosie is a very special car. shes going to be black with red interior, tastefully done as to not be too much red in there. the build quality of it still shocks me, even compared to my panel van LOL, the impala build quality is just insane. the bench seat can be moved with a feather, those doors are so light and basically shut themselves! i dread pulling the doors off, seriously goign to try do everything without pulling them off haha. still go out there and cant believe i own one!
the john deere is awesome had it since it was just a babe and brand new! it isnt the most comfortable thing across a paddock though with the lack of suspension haha. my horse has grown up with it so is natural to him to be lead around from it. pushes/pulls cars well too! i nearly rolled it once when the a trench opened up underneath my whilst mowing 18months ago. that was a bit scary.

Re: The Ladies Rides.
Hi Ladies,
I'm a newbie, but hopefully we'll make it to an event to meet some of you.
Here is my mid life crisis, I call it the Dodo.
It is in getting painted at the moment.
Motor is finished and ready to go in, and then all the little bits to be fixed/stuck back together.
Yes, that is me leaning against it in my very early teens, possibly even 10/11yrs.
My dad bought it in 1975
