Majestic Vanners to display at the F1 in Melbourne

Stuart Brown posted on the facebook group page on tuesday asking if any of us would be interested in displaying our vans at the Formula 1 Grand Prix next year:

Stuart Brown wrote:Who would like to Display their cars at the F1 Grand Prix and get two free tickets for the weekend for their troubles? For the Past 10 Years I have been involved in and indeed organising displays at the GP and this year the opportunity to display some Street Machines, Vans, Hotrods, Classics, has arisen. Any nice looking car welcome it doesn't have to be a show winner, just interesting and in good condition. There will only be 30-40 places (which will go fast) and it is an absolute commitment to the 4 Days plus Wed morning. If you are interested please PM me or give me a call.

There has already been around 6 vans and John Fairbairns hot rod confirmed for the event, is there anyone else interested in joining us? We want to get as many Majestics together on display as we can.

Please email stuart@ausclassics.com and let him know you are interested in displaying with us and he will give you all the details. There are limited spots and they will go quickly. For displaying your vehicle you will receive two weekend passes to the Grand Prix! Cool

the dates are 12th -16 march, the cars go in wednesday and stay till sunday, there is security there, cheers

Getting excited! This Wednesday is the day that we move our vans into the venue for our display at the 2014 Australian Grand Prix!!

We have 5 Majestics vans as part of the 'Ausclassics' display. They will be on display for the entire event. Thanks go to Stuart Brown for the opportunity.

Andrew and Kerri's van 'Serendipity', Kirsten Morans' 'Chaunce', Gary McMillans Sandman tribute, Kane Reops' XF van and our HQ will form the Majestic Vanners component of the display.

We are required to 'Bump in' on Wednesday the meeting point is Albert Road near Mc Robertson Girls High (Queens Road corner). We will be meeting at my place to leave at 10.00am so that we can cruise there together. Those attending are welcome to meet at my place anytime before that.

Cruised in together today parked up at the GP until after the race sunday .
looking forward to the weekend thanks to Karl and Andrew for looking after my van whilst I have to go to work .

Thanks Sam as the first van parked Andrew lined up the vans Karl was responsible for the order notice the colours with the green ford in the middle .

Great weekend thanks to Stuart for inviting us ,the Aus Classics display with 5 Majestic vans and some great cars was the most popular display .Thanks to Karl,Andrew and Kerri for cleaning the vans most mornings .

i was watching some of the F1 today while i was waiting for the clear coat to dry on the gear knob i just made and i spotted the line up of vans a few times during the coverage even during the race looks like you all pulled a crowd job
