Can't believe you are forfeiting the entire event because you miss out on one lap (or possibly 2) of Mount Panorama...
There is so much more to the event than that! Half the adventure is getting there... and then there is the people, this will be one of, if not the biggest, assembly of Majestic Vanners members we have seen!

It will also be one of the biggest celebrations of vanning in Australia, with many legends of the scene in attendance as well as the opportunity to see past show winning vans, and the biggest assembly of panel vans you are likely to witness for some time!

Get on it Greg, you have to get there, you don't want to miss out and regret it for the sake of a lap of a track that is a public road throughout the year for you to drive around!

to all the Guys Going to the Van Nats Have a Great Time and Make sure u post heaps of Photos for the Poor People ( like Me ) that arn't going to Make it !

I know, so big that they can't organise more vehicles to lap the circuit.  
No way i'm going all that way and staying back at camp whilst everyone else is cruising the track.
to me that's the #1 drawcard.

if the laps are your draw card I know of a couple of people who have paid & are entered but do not have a van to do laps with,
So you could. Do it in there spot...
And originally it was with 100 vans ,Now it's 200 .
So I don't think they'll notice one extra..

The laps of the mountain be it 1 or 2 is between other events and there is only a small alloted time frame.
While it will be great to have the convoy of Vans the spectacle will be watching it I would have thought!
Anyway I'm sure there will be spare seats in other rides. Missing the Bathurst Van Nationals would be a huge same. This event will go down in history and be talked about for decades to come. It's NOT just another Nationals.

Now, lets see if I can get my Van back together in time..........

Neil, i already spoke to frez about this weeks ago and not one extra can do it. there was 13 on the waiting list before i even enquired.
i tried entering when the site said 196 were entered, but of course the number was not updated to the 213.
All i wanted was a definite yes to the parade laps and i would have been there with you guys for sure.

I in hindsight left it all too late as it was dependent on a trailer.
I am between jobs at the moment and not too cashed up and couldn't afford to hire a trailer for 5 odd days.
When Kangaroo63 generously offered me the trailer he has i then could afford to go and that was when i tried to enter in the first 200.

Ahh well, there's always next year..............
and better still the van in.

We'll just have to wait until the van-in to catch up again & I suppose we could stir the crap out each other here in the meantime...ya tempory australian...

Would love to see Rumours there even with a 161 chucked in it...
or even put in the hall for memorabilia ...

LOL it's Innuendo mate. Fres was onto me about Rumours to be pushed into position. Err, nope!
It will be all I can do to get Innuendo back together and clean. Having a few set backs along the way...
Might have been a little fire or two!

One or two small fires ay !!!!! Got to watch all that seam sealer ,underlay & plastic when you welding next time .....
