Re: Dazed & Confused HJ ute
Thanks Rusty.
I just need to repaint the black between the fins on the 14 x 8 turbines I have for the rear and then I’ll fit them, which will set the rear off even better.
I upgraded all the brakes the other week, so I have new slotted & dimpled rotors on the front and the rear drums were rebuild, so it stops on a dime now.
I’m looking forward to my first real drive again once these coronavirus rules are relaxed.
I also tidied up my rear tray over the Easter weekend, by painting my jack, jack handle and wheel brace Chevy orange which continues the old theme that Wayne had.
I had to give it a clean as well so that will look good for the next cruise.
Slowly it’s all coming together.

Very Nice!
I meant to ask before but keeps getting left off, has the Top Panel of the Front been welded to the Guards?

Yes it has Rusty. Makes the entire area really clean. Wayne done this back in 1990 when the ute was originally built.

Re: Dazed & Confused HJ ute
After a couple of months of driving around, I decided to give the underside a well deserved clean. I love cruising around in Dazed, but I don’t like cleaning the underside. I think I’ll do it a little more regularly now It’s running very well indeed with the new carby fed 304. Here are a couple of recent pics.

Looking Good Jason!
A real Credit to you and Wayne Fleming for what he achieved when it was Seducer.

Re: Dazed & Confused HJ ute
Thanks for the kind words Rusty. Yes Wayne did a great job building both Seducer & Dazed & Confused. It’s amazing how well the chrome and paint has held up after 40ish years.
