Okay Guys & Gals lets see how quickly Tony can Trump Me. LOL!

Name the Van and the Owner for Bonus Points.

Black HQ. Usual things: Flares, Wagon Rear Bar, Lowered, Centre Mount Aerial.

Now the unusual things that will give it away: XB Front Indicators, Cortina Rectangular Headlights, Cortina 6 Power Bulge, Lead Light Window in Archway and the ceiling, Front Bumperettes with the Indicators Filled and rechromed, Personalised Mural, Chromed Hand Made Full Grille.

The things that will cinch it: the Tail Lights have been extended 2 1/2", the Nose Cone combines HQ and HJ Panels.

The Stop Watch has started.

There's something about this Van that makes it special. A good blend of Custom Tricks!

It had WildFire Super X over the Black. Would have been very nice!

'Untamed'! That was it, nice work agro. I could picture the bloody thing even down the 'custom' badge in the grille but still couldn't think of it. It had a really cool wheel treatment where it had polished jellybeans with the centres blacked out around the holes and fitted with XD standard type silver/chrome centre caps around the wheel nuts (I know they're different stud patterns but they looked like them).

Ok, name the van that featured a heap of exterior bronze plating/detailing? Maybe not so much name it, but maybe who it was built by?

The 1st Van that springs into my mind is Cold Fact, but it hold Gold Plating not Bronze.

Also makes me think of a 1 Tonner named Mean N Nasty (Very Nice!). Do you remember it? Dark Brown with a Mural of a Mouse giving the Finger to an Eagle who is about to eat him on the Bonnet, with a polished Tray and lots of Gold or Bronze Plating.

I'll keep thinking in the Meantime.

I remember Mean and Nasty, cant say I remember Cold Fact though. QLD van Rusty?
I actually thought of Pat Fays Hearse, it had a heap of bronze looking bits on it, Exhibishinist also had goldy centred wheels and assorted pieces.

I saw Meen & Grumpy at the All Holden Day in Wilberforce all those years ago (93 i think).
Idled in on the cam between 500 rpm & 1500 rpm.
Nearly got knocked over by the people running to see what it was.

Loved Mean N Nasty Rusty with the cool tipper bed and stuff, just makes you wonder what the hell happened to all these cars!!

As for the mystery Bronze, it was a big Van that was built very early on in the Van era and even pictured on an early mag cover..

Nothing really super spectacular, but that sort of detailing always stood out to me as being unusual

I only ever liked one big van and that was Rustic, big Chev van, never really liked any of the others that where built in Australia, loved the Yankee versions though! Wink

Well Simo, I'll have to think long and hard about this 1.

Rob; Cold Fact or was it Gold Fact is/was a Qld Van. I beleive it was owned by a Jeweller. It was very Nice with some really Neat Tricks including hand made Gold Plated Badges. I've got a few Pics of my own and some I borrowed I'll post up when time permits. Good points about Pat's Hearse & Exhibitionist too.

Craig; Meen & Grumpy sounds pretty cool. I wonder if the same people built it. The Owners of Mean & Nasty were really nice People. I've got some Pics of Mean & Nasty I'll post up when time permits.

I think Agro's Meen and Grumpy is Robert Bluey Hill's brown Holden stepside tonner? Had Meeen on the plates and was powered by a blown 308. Is this the one Craig?
