Hq-Wb electric windows?
hey fellas im looking at buying some electric windows for my ute, ive found a bloke in WA with a set in some rusty doors, im fairly sure they are original/correct/factory etc etc, he mentioned that they also had electric or central locking also, i want to be sure theyre the right ones(not aftermarket) before i pay for them and get them posted to nsw, ive never seen any in the flesh before, ill attach some photos
if the 6x9 holes werent there i think they would line up with the bolt holes
cheers myles

Yup, they look right to me. From memory the central lock solenoid was a fair size unlike the aftermarket versions.

Re: Hq-Wb electric windows?
You are correct James.
The Door Lock Solenoids had a tenancy to fatigue the Doors where they were mounted. They are 40-50mm in Diameter and Cad Plated.
Where the Solenoids were adapted to fit (the rear doors at least) they had an extra bracket welded on which was touched up with ColdGalv or the like.
The Electric Window Winders had a rectangularish body and they were Black.
The Drive Cog so to speak that mates to the Winder Mechanism has a Rubber Seal and can be removed fairly easily.
The above is based on the ones I have from a HJ Statesman.
I hope that is of some additional help.
