hi guys ..new to sight looking to purchase the green hj van "vandil" from a guy in WA and ship it to TASSIE .. all pics and info look good and ill be getting vip transport to check and ship vehicle... googled the car and saw some stuff on this sight during build etc.. just a bit cautious as this guy has only owned for a couple of months and says is only selling due to loss of job...internet scams are always a worry... any info would be great

Vandil is a Member and built this Van.

It was Schmick when he had it. Everything was done very thoroughly and properly.

Last time i saw the van it was in Victoria.... unless Andrew sold it to someone in W.A YTBC

Allan, mate - have you been away or something? Andrew sold it to finance his Camaro.

Tastig - If you check the link below you can see some photos I took of the van before Andrew sold it. It's definitely a nice car, and lots of time and money has gone into it.

I can't comment on the current owner, however Andrew may be willing to have a chat with you about it. His new job means he doesn't see these forums as often, so I'll let him know.

Welcome Tastig, I had the pleasure of lapping around last years Summernats in Vandil with Andrew and it was a really well put together van, I cant see it getting to badly knocked around in 2 months unless the current owner has really flogged the guts out of it. It might pay to contact Andrew and ask him how many kilometres it had on it when he sold it and comparing what it has now to see how much use it has had in WA. Cheers Rob

Hi All, The guy is selling it because he cant get it registered over W/A, he has rang me several times and they want an engineers report on Motor, diff, nitrous, He said he has put a full exhaust and central locking on it, He still hasnt sent me back the plates which was a condition of sale so I cancelled the rego on him ( ordered new plates) as he was driving around with it in my name and as you all know my previous job I wasnt happy, PM has been sent to tastig, Good to see your up and around Rob, Will catch up with you when the Gemini is finished, Camaro is being picked up this saturday morning, rob my number will be sent to you in a minute, cant wait to catch up with Perry, Al, Sean, Rusty, and the rest real soon, Cheers Andrew.
