I'm trying to talk the wife into it, she's worried that there's not going to be a lot of women there and she'll be left having to listen to all the blokes talking cars (vans), engines etc... Rolling Eyes

I told her that there will be other women, I'm not lying am I? affraid

My wife had the same concerns when she first started attending vanning events, but she always enjoys herself.

Back to Big Rob - yes, there will be Women of all ages there, some are even bringing their own Vans.

They'll be of all ages. I'm guessing Kirsty with her Bling Bling1

Van Chaunce will probably be the youngest , with others in their 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's for certain. They're a Friendly Gaggle and I'm sure your arms will quickly fit in.

Only a few weeks to go.

Hi I will be there, I do talk a bit of cars, but if she likes to sit about and drink wine then thats all good hehe Smile

Haley will be there, Karls wife, and lots of other girls. We have loads of fun on these get togethers.

That's part one solved. Now I have to convince her that camping won't be too rough. The place looks cool and it's not out in the middle of nowhere so I guess I need to organise a tent (or a Supercheap Auto carport with sides) and we might have no reason not to come!

Everyone is camping at the same spot I assume?

Yes we all camp in the same area, and the facilities are good, I think Rusty has organised a few more portaloos, and showers, we sleep in our van, most do, and we back into an awning with sides, so we can put our bags, and get dressed etc. Its a lovely shady spot too.

I think she's warming to the idea. If all goes well we just might be there.

My mate (who's also a world class motor trimmer) is getting the materials to trim my seats and rear side panels on Friday so they will be done next week. The doortrims are already done and we have 7 metres of carpet for a cut & laid front and a full floor in the rear. He wants to rip the perfect headliner out and replace it with a new full length one. With all that done it will be a shame to miss going to Albury.....
