Evening everyone, I found this site while searching for some changes to my ute as a prelude to the plans for the HJ van.

Some people will know me from OldHolden, where I have lurked and posted for nearly 10 years now.

The plan is to get the van on the road by the end of next year, maybe in the botannica mica colour of the VR/VS commodores.

I'll throw some photos around once I get the van into the shed at this stage. I have 23 days left on an unreg'd permit for the ute, so I want/need to get that sorted first. I figure I can play around with a few things and see how they feel/look so I can refine them whilst building the van and to do it properly the first time around.

Hey guys, My name is Jack.

Ive always wanted a Sandman Panelvan since I was 16 and finally found the right one 2 years ago.

Its a Windowless 1974 HQ Panelvan which is currently stripped back and disassembled waiting for me to save some money up to take the Panel beaters and Painted.

I found out about this site by visiting the recent Van Nationals at the Caribbean Gardens and saw quite a few of you guys from the Majestic Vanners, and I recognize that FJ up the top.

Hope to join you guys one day.

I had a 74 XB van back in 80-83.Just finished building a Sundowner van Colleen reconds is my midlife crisses but i keep telling her it's not,my midlife was at 35 don't expect to live much past 70 Smile
