love that wagon! Van looks like a great project too! My WB van came from Enzed a bit over 12 months ago!

Cheers for that,Yes the wagon is really quite special(HDT's own car)V8 and polarized,I will do a write in the wagon section,I have spent heaps of $'s and time on her to get it that way.We brought her in Perth.But the van is my next project,She has only done 200,000ks and is in I would say a 7 out of 10 condition.We brough from last years beach hop and runs really well.But I am here to help,and to learn from like minded people.

g'day all! Followed a link here from an XD Falcon forum, and decided to stay awhile (if that's ok!).

Bit of a car whore, and as a kid I used to pore over all sorts of magazines... was rapt to find panel-vanning alive and well, with all sorts of info on some of the cars I'd read about as a younger type of person!

Nice to have you on here mate, plenty of info and memories on here and more getting added daily!

Name is Phil. Just happened across this site while googling Alley Cat. How sweet. Was into the Van scene for 15 years, late 70's to early 90's. Had an XB GS which I fitted out, so;d that and bought Jim Berry's Van Dragon. Was in a sorry state when I bought it. I done it up again (never showed it) and then sold it of to buy a house 'groan' . Will upload some photos soon.

My name is Teri , I am a 36 yr old mum of 3 and real soon Nan to one . I have wanted My Dream Car . since I was about 13 years old and I finally got it ...I bought my second van a few months ago ( first was in bad shape so never got far with it ) and am currently sanding back for paint . I will post pics in next few days . I am doing it up Bondage Theme ..... Should be fun hehehehehe ... Its a bitsa but I love it .. HQ body , HZ Chasis , WB taillights and caprice front end ... VR 215kw motor with T5 box .....I cant wait

Hi all. Yes I guess I am a bit of an old van nut. I have kind of done a few things in my time with one van that was pretty special to me, a splash of paint here, a splash there, a few chrome bits, and lots of polishing and endless cleaning. I learnt how to build cars from the ground up - so much fun. Vans made such a profound impact on me - even though I haven't had a van for some time - the passion and the memories never go away. Made some life long friends out there - Hiya Steve Russell and so many more out there. My name is Rob - but many will simply know me as Fuzz. The plates on my car - FU222. Some of you may remember me or more to the point my van - yep I built The Wizard - 1978 HZ Sandman which ultimately had the big block ford ( 429 ) in it. The years were absolutely great. Dont have a van anymore - but doesn't mean I dont luv em!! Cheers Rob

great to have another vanning legend here on the forum, I grew up idolising vans like yours, it's certainly in my Top 3 vans of all time! There's quite a bit of old van stuff on here and we're always happy to have more! Feel free to add some history up about The Wizard on it's thread.

G'day everyone, my name is Dexman (Paul) I'm 46 and another old Holden nut. I love the HK-T-G series, the only van I ever owned was a HG it was midnight blue with HQ ute tail lights and crushed velvet interior, that was some 25 years ago. Now with 3 kids I drive a HG 308 Prem sedan. I am not to flash on computers so i'm not sure my intro' will wind up in the right place. Cheers for now !
