Re: Introduce yourself Here!
I haven't been able to apply myself to this Site due to Travel and Work Commitments for a while. I'm hoping that changes back to normal soon.
A HUGE MV Welcome to all the Newbies since I last posted in here. (Sorry for being so generic, too many to catch up on.)
A Special welcome to Kirsty, our 1st Teenage Lady and still at School to boot!
I really enjoyed Chatting to you and your Dad (Kevin) yesterday.
I would have given my Eye Teeth for a Van such as yours when I was your age. Congratulations on your Eye Catching Ride! I hope to see a lot more of it.
If my memory serves me correct, your Dad is building a Bedford Van. I hope to see and hear some more about that as well.
Enjoy your time on here and don't be afraid to ask silly questions, most of us will have silly answers from time to time, but mostly we're a pretty Friendly Bunch and usually come up with some helpful Advice/Information.
Love your Bling Grille and Wheels:
Here's my Silly Question: "What does Chaunce mean / stand for?"
Keep on Vannin'!

Re: Introduce yourself Here!
Wow, thank you everyone for such a warm welcome.
There is no real story behind Chaunce, I have just loved the name Chauncey/Chaunce for a while now and when I first got the van it just seemed fitting to call it that. At first it was just a joke but then it caught on so I kept it. I probably should have posted it with the y so it would be clearer.
And yes your memory is correct, my Dad does have a Bedford van that he used to show when he was younger and didn't do to bad with (it was called "Champagne"), but unfortunately it hasn't moved from the shed in 22 years because of the family and now all his other cars he hasn't really had the time to get back into it, although i know he'd love to.
Thank you for posting the picture.
Can't wait to eventually put my mark on the van.

Thanks Smooth 8, I'm trying to get some old pics from mum but at her age, looking for old van pics is not a high priority.
I will keep on nagging her.

Re: Introduce yourself Here!
Hi everybody , Shane here no Van project on the go at the moment... having six kids has made me an 8 seater van man..lol I dont like most new cars so my ride is a 1985 Ford Spectron.. Don't laugh , although its growing on me.. so I'm on the hunt for a Holden van before I start to spend time and money on the Spectron that I shouldn't..

Re: Introduce yourself Here!
Hey to all you Vanners out there.
I'm Lewis, I'm 17 years old and I've just finished year 12. I'm currently in the middle of selling my factory V8 4 speed LH SLR Torana to pay for a van project I'm planning. I hope to buy a windowless Hj-Hz panel van that has good paint and body, as I am happy to do mechanical and interior work myself. I live in the ACT and because of that I am spoilt enough to be allowed to drive V8 cars on my P plates. I'm keen to get my hands dirty and eager to start a new project.

Welcome aboard Lewis, the Torrie sounds nice. I've had a few Toranas myself, there's pics in the other cool rides section. Feel free to post your Torana up in there too. Good luck with the van project.
Cheers and welcome
