hey all, my name is jesse and im 15 this year and am keen to get a project (panny) for my p's in a couple years i have my eye on an xy panny in NT and another on a xc (mystery sundowner) up the hill near where i live , im very keen into the whole car scene as a whole and own fords i do like holdens all the same esspecially the sandman but just fel in love with the blue oval, anyway apart from that i practically live in the seventies i wear converse to school have long hair and listen to zeppelin and hendrix , i think i worthy of a panel van by now aye? my other pride and joy at this age (yes i have a car) is a 1970 xw gs ute my dad gave me when i was five and i restored it with him, i love engines and would love to meet you all!

Sounds like you had a great opportunity restoring a classic car with your Dad.
I have always favoured the XA-B-C models when it comes to those Fords... but an XY looks good as well. KEEP THE LONG HAIR! Mines more salt than pepper but it still hangs over my shoulders

Hope you enjoy the forums here and get to meet the members sometime (I met some of them last year and their a top bunch of people) ... There is the Van Nationals in WA this year... (that's near NT isn't it? lol)

Hey everyone my names Zac, I live in WA and been chasing a holden van for the last few months. Seems Perth has a shortage for sale so Iv now turned to the east coast. Hoping to pick one up and christen it with the drive back to Perth. Iv jumped in on tastigs post in the general section but if anyone's got some info on a good van getting around please let me know it will be greatly appreciated. Really hopping to only make one flight over, anyway enjoy vanning everyone

where do I start?.. I have owned several vans.....
starting in 1985 with "Apocalypse" Ford XB V8 Monza front, murals, interior, side pipes etc Black.
. Ford Transit modified doors, chopped front guards, square headlights, Gun metal grey with black front, custom interior, big wheels, side pipes. V8, changed back to 6cyl for re-registration and sold to ?
. Bedford 350 chev, custom chev front, ambo rear window, lights, flares, interior etc, matt black with flames. (Phil and Marion own it now)
. Holden WB, custom interior, V8, lowered etc, bright red (Michelle and Damien own it now)
. Holden HQ, V8, lowered, big wheels etc Maroon (was Mandy Parfits went to W.A.)
also another transit and bedford and a little escort panel van too....
and now f100 ex-ambo, appliance white.
Seems I liked a van or two....

Hi all,
My name is Rob and I was a spectator at Noosa on Sunday. I am originally from western Sydney and now live in Noosa. I don't own a van but have alway's admired the incredible work that has gone into creating them. I used to attend most of the van & hot rod show's through the 70's, when the van movement was starting, however I never got around to buying one. Then I was married in the early 80's and totally dropped out of the van & car scene altogether. Now my family has grown & left home I have a renewed interest in van's again. Last Sunday it was great to see some van's, especially in Noosa, regardless of the rain.

Hi all, my name is Scott, live on the southern table lands of NSW with my wife Deb of 15 years and our 4 children.
I have been out of the scene for quite a while now but have been slowly starting to rebuild my WB van over the last 12 months.
I use to show it in the early to mid nineties so i'm hoping to make a comeback next year.Hopefully by joining here I will get some helpful advice and encouragement to get the job done. Catchya
