Glad to see you here and the passion is still there ,
Some of the vans you talk about are still with us going through another phase of their life.
But unfortunately some are long gone.
I think 2015 Bathurst van nats will be very special .

Hi all,
I have been looking at your forum's for a while and it has ignited a fire within me to find that long lost sandman project that I have wanted since I was young.
My eldest bloke has just turned 17 & I would love to have a project to share with him.
I'm on the hunt & if anyone has any leads to a basket case sandman I'm all ears.

Thanks all for your kind replies. I'm from Sydney & I'm willing to travel for the right van. I saw in the for sale section a ebay link to a red sandman project. Does anyone know the owner and if it was sold? I tried to PM the poster who shared the link but I don't have that permission.

Hi all,
Thought it was about time I put up an intro post. I've only been signed up for 3 years.
My white replica sandman and I met a bunch of you at the nats in mildura. Thanks for letting me park with the group in the oval.

For those that havn't met me, I'm a tall engineer from adelaide.

I've got my white replica hx sandman, I've got plans for a v8 for this one soon.
A hz ute my old man helped me buy when I was 21, as soon as the v8 in the white van is done I'll be giving this a once over.
Finally, there is a hj sandman in the shed that needs extensive work which is my "one day I'll actually fix that" project.

I'll up some project threads once I make some progress.
