How to become a Majestic Vanner?

hey guys just a quick question, can someone explain the rankings and stars for me? just curious as to how it all works.

Being a MV Member is not about number of post's, nor is it about having the best van. It's not about politics and who is the best leader of the bunch.

MV Is a cohesive unit of friends and mate's that bring together their knowledge, advise, help and ideas into one space.

MV Is about maintaining an old school level of help.

MV Is getting out of it what you put in.

The rankings and stars relate to the number of posts you've added, the only exception to the rule is the ranking of Majestic Vanner which is given to any member of MV.
Originally when we started Majestics it was a small group of 4 or so, I came up with the name, SMQQTH did the logo and we progressed from there. We agreed from the start we wouldn't have a president or formal committee just an "organising group" that would help co-ordinate runs, shirts etc. Most of the organising has been done in the past by Rhino and myself although since we've expanded other members have taken on roles of organising and helping too!
We've always been a majority rules group and are more a close nit bunch of mates than full blown formal club.
To answer your question of how you become a Majestic Vanner?, originally when we started it was a case of getting invited to a run and "voted in" to the group. As times gone on we've relaxed this a bit and added people that have been mates with other members and people we've met on the forum who seem to have the Majestic spirit, of helping, sharing and van building!

So true Jamie, having the passion for vans is quite enough to be a part here. We all know you've had several vans before and I'm guessing you'll have a few more yet!

It's one of the most laid back but informative forums, someone here knows what you want to know and will help you whenever necessary and with all the pics you get different ideas for your own project

And we've got nearly 50 members now!

We've got a few Independants on here Craig, Brutle and Fres are independants mate plus there's a heap of others on here that aren't in a club/group yet. (But we'll sign them up yet! )
We value their input on here and welcome all of them to our runs and events, MV is just about trying to unite as many van enthusiaists as we can and helping them find/build/enjoy their vans.
We're all mates on here and get along great and it shows.
Independants are just like distant cousins to Majestic Vanners, not quite part of the family but still related and welcome all the same!

Gees guys, nearly 200 forum members and nearly 50 Majestic Vanners! Cant believe how much we've grown over the last 12-18 months.
Looking forward to getting 50 members! Will be quite a milestone.

Ive loved vans since I was a kid, always been around them but never owned one! Would I be frowned upon if I turned up to an event on my wagoon?

No way would you be frowned upon!

You like any other level headed, like minded person is more than welcome to come on Majestic runs.

You're definitely Welcome Searlesy.

A lot of us on here are also Wagon Fans.

There were always a lot of Wagons at Van Shows.

There were even a few Wagon Clubs back in the 80's.

I'd luv to have enough for a Category.
