How to become a Majestic Vanner?

As we are now approaching the anniversary of Majestic Vanners Australia's first year as an official incorporated club, I thought that this thread requires an update.

As it stands today the forum has grown to 755 registered users of which 85 have become Majestic Vanners. Of the 85 Majestic Vanners spread throughout Australia 45 have stepped up to become fully fledged paid up members.

Becoming incorporated has meant that there is now a commitee that includes a President, a Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer.

Entry to the club has pretty much remained the same. People who have met members, attended shows or runs with us, helped members out, contributed alot to the forum or vanning in general and those that have displayed what we call the 'Majestic Spirit' are either invited to join or can be nominated by an existing member.

When an existing member nominates an individual to join the club they approach the commitee and present their reasons why they think the individual should be invited to join Majestics. The commitee still operates under a majority rules arrangement and if the nomination passes the individual will be formally invited to join the club.

If you would like to join the club, approach one of our members and let them know. Anyone of our 85 members is allowed to put forward your nomination to the commitee.

We are a very passionate bunch. We help each other out, share our experiences and try to unite as many vanners as we can. We love the history, strive to preserve and celebrate it. We look to the future, doing our all to promote and grow the culture that we love. This is what we are all about.
