hey fellas just joined about 5 mins ago,im Myles, not far of 18, ive got 2 hq utes, 2 hz utes, 2 wb utes, 2 hz kingswood sedans and a hq wagon, had a wb panno but sold it, paid 1k got 2k so wasnt complaing, im building a hq ute with the old man, bare metal respray body and chassie, complete rebuild, retrim, rechrome becasue of the no v8s on p plates so im putting a vp commy v6, 5 spd and converted diff in, hj caprice front, fluted guards, hz gts dash(last bloke swapped it, i fixed his rubbish job on that and the rest), all the stainless trim i can get, stato, prem etc, polish everything, so far everything is nearly ready am now just waiting for my panel beater to finish the serious beating and give her some colour, im 2.5hrs into a 1yr long project

Hi guys...just signed up and getting to grips with site (all new to me)...hope this works, on a learning curve right now. Introduction: Im what you would call an 'ol Fart I suppose @62...BUT and its a BIG BUT I started in vanning in '71 and have been an XY nut since then.....my avatar is my first van and the greatest disapointment was when it faded away and was devoured by van cancer (rust) and the ultimate insult of some **** street racer creaming it when it was parked out front of my house............wish to hell I still had it now, it was a factory spec 302W 4speed with saddle buckets console and trim. anyway I will post some more pics of it scanned from old slides if anyone is interested. I had a stretch away from vans for a while but have had 2 more before my current purchase..an XY 302c 4 speed I imported fron NZ...it had been there from new....anyway its not in bad nick except its got bluddy windows in the side...will post pics as we go...kevin

Corbin 22 working remote FIFO, have just finished a 77 escort panel van, stock 1600, new interior and white paint, good fun van but a bit small for 6' ish.
Have an Ej van that is under rebuild will try and post photos.
Scott is my dad, we do most of the work together.
Old man had a HZ sandman mandarin. 350 chev and auto with nitrous, many years ago.

Hi my name is David first car was a yellow HQ 202 panel van spent hours on it and eventually had to let her go. Ten years later and iv picked up a WB panel van and renewed the passion. Great to see people are still getting in to the vanning spirit.

I live in the south east of Melbourne are are looking for a van club to join and get involved.

Is Majestic Vanners a Van Club?

If so how do I join and are there days when people meet up with their vans and talk about their cars and learn stuff off each other?

I have seen the photo on the front page of all the vans from over easter and it looks like fun.

Any help would be appreciated.
