Hi I am Jennie, and Rodney is my husband, we have 2 restored HZ sandmans, a HZ sandman to restore, and a HX ute under restoration. We decided to restore a Jasmine Yellow Sandman van since we had one when we were first going out, or rather Rodney did. so in 2010 we purchased one from Melbourne, a lot of work went into cutting out rust and panel beating, and had it finished for our 25year wedding anniversery last March. We took it back to where we had our honeymoon at Forster, and have since been to various show and shines. I am a moderator on Mysandman.com.au, and catch up with a lot of the members at the all holden days held in Richmond. We met the majestic vanners at Albury this year and thoroughly enjoyed their company. I was a teenager in the height of the vanning era, so am very enthusiastic about trying to save our vans from scrap...I am as passionate about them as Rodney, and we both do all the work together.

Hi,

We are Neil & Cherone Marshall ..... Neil has owned his panel van for 27 years ...... We were involved in a few clubs years ago but having & raising children we had to put a hold on our 1978 HZ Panel Van. It use to be Jasmine Yellow but our middle son is an excellent Spray Painter & Panelbeater (Dual Trade) so with his help we started pulling the body back 2 1/2 years ago right down to the chassis (sigh) ..... His done a great job with the exterior.

The interior has NEVER been finished so thanks to Xtrim it's all become very exciting as it's so close to being finished.

After all these years we felt it deserved a name and felt "ANGRY BIRD" was very fitting.......

As for the rest well you'll have to wait & see for yourselves ......

Thanks for making us feel so welcome.....

Hi guys, New to forum so thought I would introduce myself a little.

My name is Brad, I have few projects on the go at the moment but the one that is taking up most of time at the moment is a EH windowless panelvan. Van is going down the modified path with a 308 V8, turbo 350 trans and 9 inch & detailed undercarraige.

i require more pics but from the one above looks like you have put in the long hard months of work id love to see what a eh van looks like with out the 50 years for dents and rust

Hi all just thought l would do the right thing introduce myself lm Graham l live in Gippsland victoria l have always had an interest in panel vans since l was 8yrs old have owned a few the van l have now l have owned it for the past 23yrs lm the second owner hz sandman 308 muncie 4spd lowered all around has always been kept the garauge l myself have only done 7000km in the time l have it. Any how lm looking at spending a few bucks so when its finished l then will put up photos to show so l guess there will be sum fum times ahead working on it cheers
